1:1 Consultation + Life Coaching Session for New Digital Nomads

You’ve already secured that remote job, started your online business, or finally committed to the career break you’ve been dreaming about. On paper, everything is ready to go for you to finally start your digital nomad lifestyle, but there’s something holding you back from taking the leap.

Many people dream about ditching everything and jumping into a life of full-time travel, but there’s more to it than simply finding a career that allows you the freedom to work from wherever.

In this 1:1 consultation and coaching session, I’ll help you identify and strengthen the social, emotional, and life skills that will help you thrive as you transition to your dream digital nomad lifestyle.

What might be causing you to hit the brakes on taking the leap into a nomadic lifestyle?

  • Do you resist the uncertainty of what awaits you when you step off the plane into a totally different culture?

  • Is there a fear of loneliness or anticipated discomfort when connecting with new people?

  • Do you need to create or strengthen routines and rituals to help you thrive and feel your best while exploring new destinations?

  • Do you need more knowledge on how to work effectively while traveling?

  • Or are you simply overwhelmed by the options available to you and you have no idea where to even begin?

How will this work?

 
  1. You’ll select an appointment time. Payment is made when the appointment is scheduled.

  2. At the time of booking, you’ll be required to complete an intake form that I will use to structure our session and do any needed research to prepare for our call. The more you are able to share about your questions and what you’d like to discuss, the better I’ll be able to prepare for our session and make the most of our time together.

  3. We’ll have our 90-minute call to discuss the topics you indicated on your intake form.

  4. I’ll follow up with detailed notes from our call as well as any recommended resources specific to your needs. You will receive this within 3 business days.

What might we discuss in our time together?

  • I can help you prepare your mind and body for the - let’s be honest - inevitable stressful or uncomfortable emotions and experiences that will likely arise. The thing about living a life full of travel is that it is still life and you will still have challenging experiences. We could talk about your fears or limiting beliefs and we may discuss topics like nervous system regulation and tools such as mindfulness, breathwork, neuroaromatherapy, etc.

  • Let me help you make the most of this experience. Travel can absolutely change you, especially when you go into it with the mindset of being open to transformation. This is where we would discuss topics like testing your limits while respecting your own boundaries, practices such as journaling and embodying a different version of yourself, and connecting with the local culture and people.

  • One of the biggest fears that people have around the shift to a nomadic lifestyle is loneliness and a lack of community and support. I can provide you with tools for navigating feelings of loneliness, connecting with new people in a new place, and staying connected to those you love when you no longer share the same city or country.

  • One tip I’ve learned for myself and also heard from other digital nomads is the importance of having some consistent practices that you take with you, regardless of the city you’re calling home this month. We can talk about building and maintaining routines and rituals and how to replicate them in each new place so that you feel healthy, settled, and like you are able to thrive no matter where you are. This can also include health and wellness practices to keep you feeling your best.

  • There is something magical and restorative about slowing down. Let’s talk about why you might consider slow travel and the benefits to you, the communities you visit, and the planet as a whole. We would also discuss what slow travel specifically means to you and what it might look like in your life.

  • Not quite as much fun, but important foundation to help things go smoothly. This entails things like what to look for in accommodations, internet and communication options, transportation options, coworking, etc.

  • How do you pick the right destination when you have the freedom to go nearly anywhere? Spoiler alert - there’s not really a ‘right’ destination, just a ‘right for right now’. Your wants and needs will change over time, so what you’re looking for right now probably won’t be what you’re looking for 6 months from now. That ability to choose a place that meets your current needs and know that you have the ability to easily move on when your wants and needs change is one of the benefits of a nomadic lifestyle.

  • Whether we like it or not, there’s a just a little bit more involved when we take on the world as a solo female traveler. If this is you, I’d love to support and encourage you on this grand solo adventure. We’re in this together!
